Through this documentary, the nature of Santa Maria it is revealed; insects that resemble plants, birds that create dangerous liaisons with wasps to protect each other and spiders with surprising hunting tactics, are just a sample of the great diversity that protects this place.
THE BIG RIVER OFLA MAGDALENA
Luis, Mayito and Julio are fishermen who although they don't known each other, their culture has been defined by its relationship to the marshes of Middle Magdalena. But, what happens when the marshes are an obstacle to "development"? Oil, livestock and construction of ports will be some of the problems these characters share and will have to face, risking their future and that of an ancient culture in danger of extinction.
EXPEDITION LAST SHELTERS
In the documentary series The Last shelters, different teams of scientists venture into the most extreme geography of Colombia, to reveal hidden natural richness in inaccessible places. Each chapter will take the viewer on a journey that extends from the abyssal depths of the Caribbean Sea, where the water pressure exceeds 100 tonnes, until the tops of the tallest trees of the virgin Amazon, going through caves, canyons and abrupt glaciers.
